New to Twitter/Newness

A lot of people have been ranting and raving about Twitter. I have yet to find out what really goes on with it but slowly and surely my technologically inept mind is letting me discover and explore. It seems to be similar to every other social networking site but a bit more minimalistic and if this is at all possible, more available to the stalker. But hey, who am I to judge those who stalk? If you have a facebook account, I bet you stalk. My mother stalks people on facebook (something that freightens and amuses me at the same time) and this proves how many people use the social networking website to stalk people they know and don't know.

A week from tomorrow Megan McCafferty will be releasing the final book in the Jess Darling series entitled Perfect Fifths. I am beyond thrilled to find out what happens between Jess and Marcus. Will they end up together (as they rightfully should) or will they realize that they should never be together (and break my heart and faith in love--I wish I was kidding) or will McCafferty pull some ambivalent bullshit and pull an ending similar to Charmed Thirds in which Jess discusses how Marcus will always be a part of her life, leaving and entering just to leave and enter again, an ongoing cycle in life. Kind of like how a single-celled organism gets larger when it envelops something (what is this called, phagocitosis?) just to get smaller again and then to repeat the process all over. Shit, I just compared the truest love I've ever read in a novel (except for the love that Steinbeck has for Salinas Valley, California) to the way in which a single-celled organism gets its sustenance. Talk about romantic!
